Window installation is pretty sophisticated kind of work if done right. However, it becomes even more sophisticated if you have to redesign the entire configuration while protecting the structural integrity of the house. Here at California Deluxe Windows® we are very proud to have had the opportunity to work on this unique project. The assignment was, to take an existing sunroom where single pane glass made it impossible to use the room in summer due to the scorching heat inside that room and not possible to use it during the winter months due to serious water leaks.
The design behind California Deluxe Windows® plan was to accomplish modification in such a way that it would have continuous air circulation and easy access to the outside, via building in French doors and Patio doors and especially a properly positioned doggie door where the family dog could enjoy the sunroom as much as the rest of the family. What was required from California Deluxe Windows® was to create numerous items in a variety of shapes and angles to fit into the existing structure while providing a continuous, flawless connection between all those items. Highest energy efficient, dual pane glass provided extremely energy efficient and comfortable surroundings which allowed the homeowners and the family dog to call this previously un-useable sunroom a new living room because that's where they now watch television, listen to music and read books.

We here at California Deluxe Windows® are especially proud when a very challenging project comes our way, and we are able to address the project in a creative way, allowing us to satisfy the homeowners and exceed their expectations. The most recent of these projects was the replacement of all the windows, totaling more than 40, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. N of Upland, CA.
What was very unusual about this project was the difference between the interior and exterior surfaces of the home. The finishing motif on the inside of the home was comprised of a deep, rich wood. Areas including the office, the library, the game room, and even the bedrooms all had a look detailed by the deeply saturated colors of the wood. At the same time, the exterior required distinct shapes of white windows to match the artistic, modern architecture of the home.
California Deluxe Windows® was able to manufacture the dual color windows in all the shapes required, having a rich saturated wood look on the interior and a modern, white exterior. Another unique feature of the windows was that while they maintain a beautifully blended wood look, they will not succumb to any of the negative elements of actual wood, such as expanding or drying up, requiring continuous up-keep, as well as vulnerability to termite devastation. The windows provided by CDW are all of the highest grade vinyl with all the benefits vinyl provides while still maintaining that real wood feel. In addition, tremendous variations in sizes and shapes were perfectly fitted into existing openings without causing any damage to the interior trim or exterior stucco. As a result, Mr. and Mrs. N of Upland now have a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing home as well as having the most energy advanced windows on the market with all the special features and benefits that only California Deluxe Windows® provides.
